Earl Industries Expands in Florida

In a major milestone for Earl Industries, the companys Florida Division on June 16, 2004, poured the slab for the Divisions new 30,000 square foot Operations Building on Mayport Naval Station. Cementing Earl Industries position in the market, this new building will consolidate Earl Floridas facilities under one roof located a mere 1000 feet from the maintenance piers on Mayport Naval Station. When complete in early 2005, this building will house all of Earl Floridas production shops. Outfitted with an overhead crane and state-of-the-art paint and blast shop, Earl Industries ability to repair the ships at Mayport Naval Station will be much improved.
Earl Industries expanded to Mayport in 1998 and has grown to be the ship repair contractor of choice. In 2003 and 2004, Earl Industries Florida Division was a leading contractor on the successful ESRA of the USS JOHN F. KENNEDY. Also during this time period, Earl Industries completed 13 CNO Availabilities in Mayport as well as several jobs at Kings Bay Submarine Base.
