May 2008 | Earl Manufacturing Officially Certified to Quality Standard AS9100B

PORTSMOUTH, VA – Earl Manufacturing has successfully obtained dual quality management system certification: one for general manufacturing (ISO9001: 2000) and the other for Aerospace related products, services, and processes (AS9100B). Completing the certification process was an Earl Manufacturing corporate goal for 2008 and was completed ahead of schedule. AS9100 is a set of requirements for quality management systems that include all ISO 9001:2000 requirements as well as extensive international standards that are now approved by major aerospace companies around the world.

"The award of the certificate was achieved much faster than expected and is due in no small part to the cooperation and collaboration of the entire Manufacturing Group," explained Brian Miller, Earl's Director of Manufacturing. "This represents a major achievement, given the complexity of our customer's requirements and reinforces Earl Manufacturing's commitment to quality".
